The Nine Tibetan and Sanskrit Character that are used for Amithaba Mantra, OM AMITHABA HUM are synonymous with the Nine Fold Lotus Flower. The Four Gates on this burner are for The Four Bodhisattvas to complete all disciplines. It is used for establishing dominion over anything that can harm your reputation and helps assert your authority. It is also helps one awaken to the Pure Lands of Amithaba. At the very center is Amithaba and the Expedience Dharma Gate (Benefit of his Guidance). On the east side is Great Action of Samantabhadra and the Arousal of Mind Dharma Gate (Answering Supplications). On the south side are Great Wisdom of Manjushri and the Discipline Dharma Gate (Follow the teachings teachings and actions). On the west side is Great Compassion of Chenrezig and the Bodhi Dharma Gate (Enlightenment by way of the teachings of the Buddha).
