Padmasambhava introduced Treasure Vases to Tibet. He gave specific instructions on how to create and what sacred items need to be put inside them. Today they are still made by his instructions. It has it’s beginning’s in the Treasure Vase of the Eight Auspicious symbols. The blessings, pacification and improved environment created by the vases extends for 15 miles outward from the vases location. By the sacred contents and rituals employed during its creation, the treasure vase has the power to magnetize wealth and abundance, improve health & healing, pacify anger & conflict, and increase wisdom and compassion.
Traditionally, Tibetan Treasure Vases are given on auspicious occasions such as births, weddings, housewarmings or new ventures. They are kept in one’s home or business, or buried at a chosen site. The vases are the perfect feng shui remedy to restore vitality and harmony to elements (earth, air, fire, water and space) that are imbalanced, disturbed or depleted by environmental pollutants. Within the areas surrounding the vase, direct experiences of well being will occur.
Kalachakra and his practice are considered by many to be the most complex in all of all Vajrayana Buddhism. Kalachakra is the master and is all knowing of time, space and their cycles both inside and outside us. His practice teaches how to harness their sublet energies for transformation. Kalachakra in Sanskrit translates into “Wheel of Time."
To practice Kalachakra one needs to have been given the initiation and make a lifetime commitment to do some practice daily. One of the beauties of the Kalachakra is that it has a rich history of its initiation being given in huge public gatherings with Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike.
For Buddhist, the initiation is for learning and being able to do it’s practice. For non-Buddhist, this helps shift the human consciousness towards world peace. His Holiness, the Dalai Lama is a sublime Kalachakra master who has given the initiation to over a million people to date. He like Kalu Rinpoche did understands the importance of the initiation to be given to Buddhist and non Buddhist in these degenerate times. Having an image of Kalachakra helps us with stretching time to better fit us.
